Fusion Food ProgramBringing Life to the Community, one meal at a time!
The Fusion Food Program started back in October of 2018 with the introduction of the Community Cafe, where we would open up our Community Centre one afternoon a week and serve Coffee, tea, milkshakes and a tasty, sweet treat before transitioning to Community Dinner in the evening, prepared using produce collected through food waste initiative, SecondBite.
Today, working in partnership with The Dish of St John’s Wahroonga along with other community organisations, each week our volunteers are serving 200 meals and delivering fruit, veg and groceries to more than 30 families in need.
