COVID-19

The current COVID-19 crisis has galvanised many in our community to extend greater care for those in need. Here at Fusion Sydney North we have found that the Aussie spirit is at its core resilient, compassionate and generous. During these difficult times many people, businesses and organisations have reached out, wanting to help in any way they can. And so, whilst all our non-essential youth and community programs have been suspended, the important work of caring for the homeless and vulnerable grown exponentially! In accordance with the social distancing directives from both State and Federal Governments, we have streamlined our meal provision to be TAKE AWAY ONLY. However, thanks to the generosity of so many, people are not only receiving meals, goodybags filled with other items such as fresh fruit and veg, hygiene items and some yummy treats too.

Community Work

We are in the community, and work with the community. Our work in Hornsby specialises in working the homeless and other disenfranchised groups through The Fusion Community Dinners and Cafe. with families, such as our Toy Library and other parenting programs. The Toy Library is run by volunteers, and we offer tea/coffee and home baked goodies at bargain prices; craft activities; book reading corner, toys and a toy library.
